NEW YORK (MTV/Osbournes Fans Website) - Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack Osbourne will be the first "family" to ever host the American Music Awards come Jan. 13.

The three-hour event, in its 30th year now, will originate from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and air on ABC. "We are going to give the American Music Awards 2003 a different slant as only the Osbournes can," said Sharon Osbourne on Monday (Nov. 4).

In other news, the family's matriarch released a statement in regards to recent talk that she is parting ways with MTV and the Emmy-winning The Osbournes. "I have every intention of fulfilling our commitment to MTV for a full 20 episodes. I love my MTV," said Sharon on Monday.

The reports stem from her own comments on ABC's 20/20 with Barbara Walters that, "This is definitely the last year. Another 10 shows and I'm out." The "20 episodes" she refers to in her statement would mean 10 for this season and 10 for the next season, as the show resigned with MTV for two years after its first season.
The Osbournes' second season debuts on MTV on Nov. 26.
