Beginning May 14, fans will have a chance to purchase pre-sale tickets for the 2008 Pop-Tarts Presents American Idols Live! Tour by logging onto https://www.poptarts.com and obtaining a special password to buy concert tickets before they are available to the general public. The password will appear on Poptarts.com starting May 13. Fans can purchase up to eight tickets per household for any of the concert dates.
"We know fans want to see their favorite Idols perform, and we're thrilled to provide them with first access to purchase tickets for this summer's tour," said Etienne Patout, Director, Pop-Tarts toaster pastries. "As the presenting sponsor for the American Idols Live! Tour again this year, we're looking forward to another fantastic tour."
The Pop-Tarts Presents American Idols Live! Tour will feature the top 10 contestants from "American Idol" Season 7. The concert tour will kick off on July 1 in Glendale, Ariz. and will make its final stop on September 13 in Tulsa, Okla. This is the seventh year the Pop-Tarts brand has been the presenting sponsor of the tour.
Fans can also share their favorite "American Idol" tunes with friends and family using a new mini MP3 speaker, courtesy of Pop-Tarts toaster pastries. Tokens may be collected from specially-marked packages of Pop-Tarts toaster pastries to put toward the exclusive American Idol mini MP3 speaker, which works with all MP3 players, CD players and personal radios. Speakers available while supplies last.
