ENTERPRISE,
Alabama (Top40 Charts/
Music City News Media & Marketing) - Labeled a 'mega outdoor entertainment extravaganza' (combining the elements and character of Bonnaroo, Woodstock, Telluride and Country Thunder), the first BamaJam
Music & Arts Festival (June 5 – 7, 2008) has already enjoyed astronomical ticket sales, exceeding the expectations by festival planners, proving thousands of music enthusiasts intend to 'see stars' at this landmark event! Scheduled to be held over a sprawling 600-acre tract in Enterprise, AL, the 3-day/2-night festival is staged to attract Classic Rock, Alternative, Bluegrass and Country music 'stargazers' from around the world!
'BamaJam tickets are outselling our expectations,' said Ted Hacker, Event Producer, Ronnie Gilley Entertainment. 'As we rapidly approach capacity at the BamaJam site, we encourage folks to buy tickets early. We sure don't want you to be 'left standing at the gate!''
The wonderment of BamaJam doesn't just begin and end with the music! BamaJam is a fun-tastic outing for the entire family. A concert, music festival and theme park all in one, wherever you go, BamaJam
Music & Arts Festival will offer plenty to see and do. From Bama Market, Bama Media Lounge, BamaJam
Sponsors Plaza, BamaJam Thrill Zone, and BamaJam Camping Park, the sounds of music will surround Bama Village where world-class artists will perform on three individual stages.
More than the music:
Bama Market: Bama Market will be the epicenter boasting great food from the culinary artist, gourmet chef, hash slinger, hamburglar or deep fat fryer. In addition to the food-fare traditional to festivals and fairs, BamaJam will serve up a party platter! Hungry BamaJammers can enjoy alligator and shark on-a-stick, Louisiana crawfish, bloomin' onions, boiled peanuts, grilled lobster tail and roasted corn. Pepsi-Cola 'Point' products (packaged beverages or fountain cups) will also be available throughout the 600-acre site.
BamaJammers can 'shop 'til they drop' at Bama Market where an assortment of quality arts, crafts and hand-made items from local craftsmen, artisans and various vendors can be found. Thrifters will find homemade soaps and candles, handcrafted candleholders and ceramics, a western wear store, official artist merchandise (T-shirts, hats, CD's) and more. For a breath of fresh air or to get a brand new tattoo, BamaJammers can step inside the
Oxygen Bar or Body Art tent, or casually enjoy the photography exhibit. Fingertip puppets will also perform in the Bama Market.
BamaJam Thrill Zone: The thrill zone is every kid's kingdom featuring a mechanical bull, climbing wall, bungee jumping and giant inflatables.
Radio Village:
Radio stations from all across the Southeast will be on site broadcasting live from BamaJam.
Radio fans can stop by to visit with their favorite DJ's.
National Guard Display: The
Alabama Army
National Guard will host a series of displays including an original Dale Earnhardt Jr. race car, various Humvees, an OCC
National Guard chopper, and offer pit crew demonstrations throughout the 3-day event.
