NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Universal Republic Records) - Get ready for ESPN in 3-D-D! ESPN, the leading sports and entertainment network, and 3 Doors Down, the acclaimed multi-platinum selling rock band, have entered into a unique agreement that will have ESPN complementing its productions with the band's new music throughout the month of June. ESPN will feature five songs from the band's new self-titled album 3 Doors Down, available everywhere May 20, and two songs from their ground-breaking, six-million selling debut album, The Better Life, which launched the band's incredible decade-long run in 2000. The 3 Doors Down campaign kicked on May 18, and will run through the end of June, incorporating the band's music across multiple ESPN platforms.

Music and sports fans will be able to catch 3 Doors Down's music during a variety of live event productions, including NASCAR, MLB, College World Series, as well as studio shows such as SportsCenter (television's leading sports news program).

"This is the first time we've collaborated with a music label to this extent," said John Skipper, ESPN executive vice president, content. "ESPN and Universal Republic Records have a great relationship and the exciting and energy-filled music of their artist, 3 Doors Down, will resonate with sports fans and complement our productions well."

States Lori Lambert, SVP Strategic Alliances at Universal Republic, 'we are ecstatic that we have a perfect media partner such as ESPN who shares our target demographic for 3 Doors Down and the opportunity for us to heighten the awareness for this album and super-serve this audience with what they crave: electrifying sports programming AND music, is beneficial for everyone - especially the fans."

3 Doors Down frontman, singer/songwriter Brad Arnold, says the band was unanimous in their support for the unique opportunity. 'ESPN approaches their craft with the same kind of enthusiasm and respect for their fans as we do,' stated Brad. 'We're thrilled that they will be showcasing our songs along with some of the most exciting sports events of the summer.'

The new CD has already attracted a global buzz with the release of the first hit single 'It's Not My Time,' one of the year's fastest rising hits at Active Rock radio. The album also features other choice tracks such as the adrenalin-fueled 'Train,' and the rousing 'It's The Only One You've Got.' A highly anticipated follow-up to their No 1 debut album, 2005's Seventeen Days, 3 Doors Down has put together an amazing streak of powerful albums and chart-topping singles, including their six million selling 2000 breakthrough effort, The Better Life, and epic mega-hit signature songs such as the No 1 'Kryptonite,' and 'When I'm Gone,' from 2003's four million selling epic Away From The Sun. Recognized as one of rock's seminal forces, the band has won multiple awards throughout their career, selling more than 13 million albums worldwide and boasting one of the most riveting and successful live shows in music.

The Mississippi/Nashville rockers are currently making preparations to headline the Wrigley Extra Fruit Sensations Summer Tour, a 20-city summer trek kicking off July 9 in Maryland Heights, MO, and running through September 7. Staind and multi-platinum Oklahoma fivesome Hinder will also be sharing the stage with 3DD, rounding out what is already being called the summer's most in-demand rock ticket.

3 Doors Down is signed to Universal Republic Records. ESPN is 80 percent owned by ABC, Inc., which is an indirect subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. The Hearst Corporation holds a 20 percent interest in ESPN.
