Tracy Stefans' 'Country Rock Star' On MTM Compilation

NASHVILLE, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Tracy Stefans Official Website) - Tracy Stefans has released his debut single, "Country Rock Star," off of his debut CD with the same title. The single can also be found on M-T-M No 29. "Country Rock Star" was written by Marcel Francois Chagnon and Kevin Savigar.

"From the minute I heard the first line, I knew the song was about me," says Tracy Stefans. "I really did grow up with the radio on all day long, so many of the references in this song took me back to those days."

After spending the last 10 years as Wisconsin's hard hittin', award winning GREAT GUNS front man, Tracy Stefans has embarked on his new adventure as a solo artist. Tracy ventured into the Nashville scene to record his solo CD, Country Rock Star, which is a true Nashville CD: it was produced by Blackhawk's Henry Paul, includes cuts from top songwriters such as Sherrie Austin, and includes musicians like Cowboy Crush's Renae Truex. Tracy admits that "being in the studio, working with all the people I have looked up to for so long, and using the same equipment they used really did make me feel like a Country Rock Star."
