(Top40 Charts/ EMI MUSIC Australia) - Australia's newest young pop prospect, Chasing Bailey, are gearing up to play to one of the largest gatherings of young people Australia has ever seen. With just over one month to World Youth Day Sydney, Chasing Bailey will be the new stars of the social justice themed concert, Vinnies World Youth 4 Justice on July 17 2008 from 6pm. The concert will follow the official arrival of Pope Benedict XVI to Barangaroo in Sydney. Over 150,000 World Youth Day visitors are expected to attend and join Vinnies in making a statement about social justice and speaking out about issues including homelessness, poverty and hunger in Australia and overseas, isolation of people suffering from mental illness and migrants and refugees. The World Youth 4 Justice concert will draw on music, performances, songs and video messages to share the spirit and passion of social justice to inspire the youth of the world to take action, be part of the solution and offer the hand of friendship, hope and compassion to those most in need. Chasing Bailey will headline the concert and will play along side a free of charge line up of young up and coming artists including; the McClymonts; Shane Fritsch; Encore Vocal Group; Zumanity; the Presence; Mike McCarthy band, and Bianca Nati. The Vinnies World Youth 4 Justice concert is open to all registered WYD Pilgrims. Members of the public may be permitted to attend but the venue is expected to be at full capacity following the Papal arrival.
