
Washington, DC. (Top40 Charts/ DC Hardcore) - H.R., legendary front-man of Bad Brains, will be releasing two new singles of his new album "Hey Wella." The first single titled, "Did I Tell You" will be released on August 5, 2008 with the title track "Hey Wella" following up with an August 19, 2008 release via all digital retail outlets including iTunes, Yahoo, emusic.com, among other sites. The official digital album release date is set for
September 30, 2008, while in-store availability has yet to be announced.
Of the new album H.R. shares, "I feel like this album should be my best solo effort to date. I am bringing in vibes from reggae and blending them with my tastes in hardcore rock- this is one of best manuscripts to date."
Though reggae is the main focus on HR's solo material, he showcases his musical genius, impressive singing, and dynamic performances by exploring the worlds of hardcore and hip-hop beats as well. This new album is HR's most recent contribution to fans everywhere and many agree is his best work of art to date. Music written by Grant "OG" Garretson (drums and guitar) and produced by a three time Grammy winner, David Darlington, "Hey Wella" is one of the most highly anticipated albums to be released in years.
