Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ CCFA) - The 11th Annual Buds-n-Suds Charity Concert takes place on Tuesday, August 26th at
Limelight Club in Nashville. The line up boasts
Darryl Worley as headliner with performances from
Lee Brice and Carolina Rain, as well as songwriters Chad Hudson and Georgia Middleman.
Doors open at 6:00p.m. with an admission of $10 in advance or $15 at the door. There are always plenty of surprises in store at this event, you never know who will hit the stage and play a song or auction off an item.
The roster of past participants includes acts such as Big & Rich, Billy Joe Shaver, Keith Anderson, Marv Green, Shannon Brown, Jerrod Neiman, Wayd Battle, Bryan and
Gordon Kennedy, Shelly Fairchild, Kylie Sackley, Jamey Johnson,
Randy Houser and many others.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America's Tennessee Chapter (CCFA). In addition to the concert, this event continually produces one of the best silent auctions in Nashville.
Memorabilia from notable musicians, athletes and other celebrities include signed guitars from Eric Clapton, Van Halen and Sheryl Crow, autographed fiddle from Dolly Parton, signed jerseys from Peyton Manning and Kenny Chesney, lithographs of the film "Scarface" with the signature of Al Pacino and rarities such as a signed cowboy hat from Charlie Daniels and autographed photos of Stevie Ray Vaughan.
The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America's Tennessee Chapter opened in 2005 and is based in Nashville, Tennessee. The foundation provides education and support to the 30,000 patients across Tennessee and Eastern Arkansas affected by these digestive diseases.
More than 83 cents of every dollar raised supports research to find a cure for these chronic illnesses. CCFA has been involved with every major breakthrough related to Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis since its inception in 1967.
