NEW YORK (James Bond Movie Fans) - Just weeks after Elton John made disparaging remarks about Madonna's " Die Another Day" single--calling it the "worst Bond tune ever"--the man who composed the film's score has added more fuel to the fire. Composer David Arnold not only agrees with John, but also calls Madonna's Bond theme "tune-free". Nonetheless, Madonna does have at least one supporter and as far as we know, it's not her husband Guy Ritchie. The film's director, Lee Tamahori, says that Arnold's entitled to his opinion, but the song serves its purpose to draw a younger demographic to the mystique of 007 flicks. "I will be the first to admit I was not that fond of [Madonna's song] when I first heard it," says Tamahori. "It is a very odd choice, [but] I have grown to like it a lot more."
