September 17, The Morrison Hotel Gallery will continue its practice of groundbreaking music photography exhibition when it presents a performance and installation by rock legend Dave Stewart of
Eurythmics at the Highline Ballroom (431 W 16th St.) in New York City. Stewart's performance, which is the first live musical event ever presented by the Morrison, will also feature ten large-scale prints of his iconic photographs, hung from the balconies of the Highline. The performance will feature Stewart backed by his 30-piece Rock Fabulous Orchestra.
The following day, September 18, The Morrison Hotel Gallery will open an extensive exhibition of Stewart's work at its new 313 Bowery location, and host a signing for Stewart's new photography book, "The Dave Stewart Songbook Vol. 1.' The signing will take place from 4-6PM on the 18th, and the exhibit will be open to the public through October.
The exhibit will feature fine art quality portrait photographs by Stewart, stemming from his musical collaborations with trailblazing artists like Annie Lennox, Mick Jagger, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Bryan Ferry, Gwen Stefani, Bono, and others. The exhibit and sale will also feature Dave Stewart's photographic work with Demi Moore, Carla Bruni, Isabelle Rosellini, Silvie Marichelle and more.
Peter Blachley, owner of the Morrison Hotel Galleries stated, "I am delighted to have an artist of Dave Stewart's caliber and proven creative ability joining with the Morrison Hotel Gallery to present this extraordinary show." The exhibition will be featured in each of the Morrison's galleries in New York City, Long Island, Los Angeles and La Jolla in the coming months.

Stewart is also a prestigious record producer working with the biggest names in the music industry worldwide and is an acclaimed photographer having photographed a who's who of world-renowned artists.
