NEW YORK (NY Police Website) - The New York Police Department has finally arrested a suspect in the Jam Master Jay murder investigation. Ronald 'Tinard' Washington was apprehended after a robbery at a New York Hotel last week. Police pursued Washington in a 20-minute car chase, which ended in a collision. The suspect initially gave the police a fake name but fingerprints revealed the man wanted for questioning in the Run DMC dj's murder in October. Washington is believed to be the man who kept watch outside the Queen's studio while the gunman entered the building. As previously reported, the NYPD is said to be in search of a man named Curtis Scoon who is suspected of hiring hit men to kill Jam Master Jay over a money dispute. Washington may have been one of the two men allegedly hired.
