(Launch) - Hole frontwoman Courtney Love gave fans a glimpse of some of the standards she's working on for her role in the movie "Hello Suckers." Imperial Teen mastermind and former Faith No More keyboardist Roddy Bottum accompanied Love with a few hired musicians to perform 1920s standards at a $500-a-plate fundraiser for director Scott Elliot's New Group Theater Monday night at New York's Russian Tea Room. In the film, Love plays 1920s vaudeville-Broadway star Texas Guinan, who was seen as a loose cannon, not unlike Love. Bottum said Love had an unorthodox approach to the night as well as to performing the standards, which included "California Here I Come" and "There Will Be Some Changes Made," among others.
