BURBANK, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - Warner Bros. Records released four songs from Daniel Powter's upcoming new album, Under the Radar, as a digital EP sold exclusively through iTunes starting this week. Entitled Songs From Under the Radar, the EP will be available through all online retailers beginning September 30th. It includes Powter's debut European single "Next Plane Home," as well as "Whole World Around," "Best of Me," and "Am I Still The One."

Released in Europe on September 15, Under the Radar is scheduled to be released in the United States in early 2009. The album, which features ten new songs and two bonus tracks, was recorded in Los Angeles over the past six months with famed producer Linda Perry (Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani).

Under the Radar is the follow-up to Powter's self-titled debut album, which has sold nearly three million copies around the world to date. Its lead-off single, the irresistibly catchy "Bad Day," was named the most-played song in Europe in 2005 and was the most played song in the UK over the past five years. The track, which earned Powter a 2007 Grammy Award nomination, was certified by Billboard Magazine as the No 1 single of the year in 2006 and the first-ever digital single certified ten times platinum.
