BURBANK, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Sire Records) - Aussie twin sisters The Veronicas will launch their first-ever web series exclusively on their Yahoo! Music web channel, The Veronicas - UNTOUCHED, beginning Monday, October 13th. The weekly series will chronicle Lisa and Jess Origliasso's journey to stardom in the U.S. as they tour the country in support of their current Sire Records' album, Hook Me Up. A new episode will be posted each week for ten weeks. The Veronicas - UNTOUCHED, which also features the girls' official music videos and never-been-seen before behind the scenes videos, can be viewed here: https://new.music.yahoo.com/videos/stations/ BeyondtheVeronicas-61629393

The first episode of the web series will delve into The Veronicas' childhood growing up in Brisbane, Australia, and give viewers an inside look on how they became superstars Down Under. The girls' 2005 debut album The Secret Life Of... sold more than 300,000 copies, racked up five Top 10 singles, and won a slew of awards in Australia, including Pop Album of the Year. Meanwhile, their latest CD, Hook Me Up, is almost triple-platinum and has scored four more Top 10 singles-including their first number one charting song for the title track. The following episodes will chronicle the girls behind the scenes as they arrive in America to prepare and rehearse for their recent tour with The Jonas Brothers. Viewers will have a front-row seat for Lisa and Jess with the Jonas boys, their first performance on the tour, and get a glimpse at what their life on the road is like.

The Veronicas have been heating things up stateside with "Untouched," the first single from Hook Me Up, which landed the girls a performance slot on MTV's TRL on August 20th. The video debuted at No. 10 on TRL's Top 10 Video Countdown in July. The Veronicas were also featured as an "Incoming Artist" on the Fuse Network throughout the month of August.

Hook Me Up represents a stylistic leap for The Veronicas-swapping their pop-rock leanings for a more electro, dance friendly, beat-driven feel. The bulk of the album was co-written and produced in Los Angeles with their debut album collaborator Toby Gad, who recently co-wrote and produced Beyonce's "If I Were A Boy", and co-writer on Fergie's monster hit "Big Girls Don't Cry." Other notable producers include Shelly Peiken (Christina Aguilera), Greg Wells (Katy Perry), John Feldmann (The Used, Good Charlotte), and Billy Steinberg (Madonna).

The Veronicas recently completed a series of fall tour dates with Hanson. For more info, please visit their official website: www.theveronicas.com.
