LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Universal Music Publishing Group) - Dave Stewart, Colbie Caillat, Will.i.am, Hans Zimmer, Laura Ziskin, Randy Jackson and other music and entertainment industry figures will take part in Songs of Hope V, a special benefit and silent auction presented by City of Hope's Music & Entertainment Industry.
Held November 6 at the exclusive Esquire House Hollywood Hills, the event will feature intimate performances by Dave Stewart and Colbie Caillat. Stewart will receive the prestigious 'Legends in Songwriting' award recognizing his incredible career as a member and key songwriter of the Eurythmics with Annie Lennox, as well as his hit songwriting for artists such as Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion, Mick Jagger, Bon Jovi and many others.
Suzanne and Hans Zimmer will present Laura Ziskin with the 'Suzanne and Hans Zimmer Icon' award recognizing her achievements as a film producer and recent success with the 'Stand Up to Cancer' event.
Emmy Award-winning Will.i.am will receive the 'The Nokia Innovator in Music' award presented by Ron Fair, recognizing his success as a member of the Black Eyed Peas and as a successful writer and producer. Colbie Caillat will receive 'The Martin Bandier Vanguard' award in recognition of her double platinum success. Randy Jackson of American Idol will MC part of the event.

Past Songs of Hope silent auctions have featured rare and one-of-a-kind sheet music, original lyrics and Oscar-nominated scores and songs signed by internationally recognized composers and artists, such as Paul Simon, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, ABBA, Mariah Carey, Barry Manilow, Stevie Nicks, Gwen Stefani, Carlos Santana, U2 and Isaac Hayes. This year, Songs for Hope V will feature film scores from hit movies such as The Dark Knight, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, and others.

Guests will also enjoy the surroundings of the exclusive Esquire House Hollywood Hills. Billed as 'the ultimate bachelor pad,' the Esquire House Hollywood Hills is a 7,400 square-foot luxury home created by Esquire magazine to reflect the lifestyle of today's modern man. The new $15 million home includes an 800-bottle walk-in wine cellar, a 500-square-foot pool and spa, a private screening room, five fireplaces, and a six-car garage and incorporates such sponsors as Hugo Boss, Intel and Jaguar, among others.

'Cancer and other life-threatening diseases affect us all,' said David Renzer, Songs of Hope event chair and Chairman/CEO of Universal Music Publishing Group. 'With this, our fifth Songs of Hope event, we expect the total funds raised to reach $1 million for cancer research, treatment and education programs to cat City of Hope.
