TORONTO, Canada (CRMA) - Not only are some of Canada's biggest heavy hitters up for 2003 Grammy Awards, but it was announced yesterday that Avril Lavigne, Chad Kroeger and Remy Shand hold the leading nominations at this year's Canadian Radio Music Awards as well.

Lavigne, heads the list with five nods.
Remy Shand follows close behind with four nominations, while Chad Kroeger scored three.

Other nominees include Custom, Sam Roberts, Simple Plan, Theory Of A Dead Man, Glenn Lewis and Shawn Desman.
The Canadian Radio Music Awards take place on March 1st in Toronto.
