Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Jd Webb Official Website) - After much public controversy regarding his former Christian pop group Raze in 2001 and his fallout with Oasis Praise on Warner Bros. Records, award-winning singer, songwriter and producer Jd Webb has decided to go solo. Formerly known as a staple in Christian pop music, Webb has crossed over to R&B-Soul with a pop sensibility. Prior to the release of his upcoming debut solo album, he will be releasing a Christmas single entitled 'Everything I Need This Christmas' set for national release November 28, 2008. Webb shares, 'I wanted to write a Christmas song because I felt like there weren't many R&B-Soul songs out there during this time of year. The song is called 'Everything I Need This Christmas' and it's about having the people you love around during the holidays- to me that's what Christmas is all about, the simple things like loved ones getting together.' Noted as a "prolific songwriter" by both Rolling Stone and CCM Magazine and an esteemed recipient of Billboard Magazine's "stamp of approval," over the years, Webb has already shown his value in the music industry. After conquering the Christian music market, Webb has decided to branch out into R&B-Soul where he clearly belongs. Now, after years of being courted by major labels, Webb has strategically decided to pursue his solo career through his new music label Infinite Music Group. His self-produced debut solo full-length album 'The Introduction,' is set for release February 10, 2009.
