Born Sydney Sheriff Jr. in Jamaica and now making his home in Upstate New York , Piankhy has made quite a name for himself in several areas of the arts. Besides being an amazing musican and singer, Piankhy is a distinguished actor and has appeared in movies and TV shows such as Ghostbusters, Crocodile Dundee, Married To The Mob, Fame, The Brother From Another Planet and many more. He has worked alongside Kevin Hooks, John Sayles, Ernest Borgnine, Carroll O'Connor and Emily Lloyd. Piankhy has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) since 1973.
"The Royal Regiment" CD contains many highlights. "Thoughts Concerning You" has that classic Roots Rock Reggae feel to it. The beat and inspired words are very powerful.
