NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ BMG/ Arista Records) - Scottish rock quartet, Glasvegas, announce a limited release Christmas EP as a pre-order reward for purchases of their self-titled debut album at indie retail music stores starting December 8th and exclusively online at iTunes for two weeks starting December 16th. The six song EP, A Snowflake Fell (And It Felt Like A Kiss), was recorded in Transylvania in October 2008 and includes five new original songs plus a haunting rendition of "Silent Night" which was recorded at St Nicholas Church in Brasov with the renowned vocal talents of the Concentus Choir (singing in English & Romanian).

A Snowflake Fell (And It Felt Like A Kiss) Track List:
Careful What You Wish For
F*ck You, It's Over
Cruel Moon
Please Come Back Home
A Snowflake Fell (And It Felt Like A Kiss)
Silent Night / Noapte De Vis

Supporting the US release of their self-titled debut album and Christmas EP, Glasvegas will embark on a North American mini-tour on the 4th of January starting in Boston and ending in Los Angeles. Fans can also catch the band's US television debut on the Late Show with David Letterman on January 5th, 2009 and on January 15th when the band plays the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (please see full itinerary following).

Formed in Glasgow in 2006, Glasvegas is James Allan (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rab Allan (lead guitar, backing vocals), Paul Donoghue (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Caroline McKay (drums). Early on in their career Glasvegas caught the attention of British music mogul and tastemaker Alan McGee, who heralded the band as "The most exciting thing I've heard since Jesus and Mary Chain." Their first three UK singles, "Go Square Go!," "Daddy's Gone," and "It's My Own Cheating Heart That Makes Me Cry," established the band's reputation for what the BBC describes as "rockabilly and pop from the 1950s and '60s, using a backdrop of brooding guitars to create their own wall of sound."

In 2008, Glasvegas traveled to the US to record their self-titled debut album at New York's Brooklyn Recording Studios, with production by band frontman James Allan and Rich Costey (Interpol, Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Mew). Glasvegas entered the UK charts at No 2 in its first week of release (behind Metallica at No 1). The debut single, "Geraldine," reached No 16 on the UK charts and No 1 on the NME singles chart. The band has gone on to grace the cover of NME twice with headlines exclaiming them as "Britain's Best Loved Band" and "The Best New Band in Britain."

Their 2008 live performance schedule has included groundbreaking performances at the top UK summer music festivals, including Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, and T in the Park. In autumn, they played select shows in the US, most notably supporting Echo & The Bunnymen at Radio City Music Hall.

The single "Geraldine" is featured in a new Rhapsody commercial starting in early December. Glasvegas is slated for stateside release on Columbia Records on January 6, 2009.
