New Release Presents Mister Saturday Night @ Santos Party House - Starting Jan. 17, 2009

New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ New Release PR) - Introducing Mister Saturday Night. You might have heard of him before, actually, like when you were in college, but you should hang out with him again soon. He's been letting loose these days, palling around with Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin, those DJs who throw parties around town at places like PS1, The Yard, Love, Water Taxi Beach, and Nublu.

Mister Saturday Night in, in fact, taking over Santa's Party House with Eamon and Justin on January 17th, and they've invited a couple of top-notch folks over for the evening. Kerri Chandler, the gent that's been making classic dance music over the past seventeen years, is finally coming back to NYC to play a three-hour reel to reel tape machine set after two years' absence. And guess who's in the basement: JD Twitch from Optimo-all the way from Glasgow! Word is he's still as crazy as ever, spinning everything from gospel music to goth and techno. James Effing Friedman and The Twilite Tone will be joining them as well.

On January 24th, it's happening all over again. Tortured Soul - that irresistibly dancey band with the drummer that sings-are playing a long live set upstairs, while DJ Premier from Gang Starr plays downstairs with DJ Eclipse. Crazy.

Of course Mister Saturday Night's good friends Cocktails and Dancing are going to be there for both weeks, and when those ladies come around, you can pretty much bet that Getting Laid is going to show up.
