New York, NY. (Top 40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Boston-based Anne Heaton has confirmed a January 22 performance at the Synchronize Concert Series in Park City Utah during the Sundance Film Festival. Heaton will perform with full band and preview songs from her forthcoming full-length release 'Blazing Red' (March 3, Spill Records). The Synchronize Concert Series hosts over a dozen bands and entertainers during Sundance at the Star Bar, the film festival's official music venue, and proceeds will go to Pueblo a Pueblo, an organization aiding in the rebuilding of a community hospital in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala that was devastated by mudslides in 2005, killing hundreds of people and leaving thousands homeless. Heaton has amassed awards, praise from critics and fellow artists, and a loyal cult following with her songs that are by turns "tender, barbed and spiritual" (Washington Post). She has toured the U.S. and beyond, playing nearly a thousand shows, including stints opening for Jewel, The Pernice Brothers, and Jill Sobule among others, and singing in Max Roach's band.
