Music Director and host of 'Morning Becomes Eclectic' Jason Bentley, Recording Academy President/CEO Neil Portnow, Recording Academy Chair Jimmy Jam, and members of The Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing, along with musical artists, producers, and other prominent music industry figures will be in attendance.
WHAT: Tom Dowd, Ahmet & Nesuhi Ertegun, Arif Mardin, and Jerry Wexler made an indelible mark on the music community. From John Coltrane and Charles Mingus to Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Led Zeppelin, Cream and the Rolling Stones, these five "record men" charted the course for rock and roll and left an incredible heritage of music. Supporting the educational and advocacy initiatives of The Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing, this celebration pays homage to the legacy of these cherished visionaries and members of the music production community.
