NEW YORK (N Sync Fans Website) - It worked out for O-Town but not everyone gets famous when they sign on the dotted line for boy band Svengali Lou Pearlman.

The man behind *NSync and the Backstreet Boys is being investigated by Florida officials for charging aspiring models and actors up to 15-hundred thousand dollars a piece for supposed talent representation.
In reality their picture is put up on his web site and that's it.

Pearlman issued a statement saying he is unaware of the probe.
