LOS ANGELES (Warner press release) - During a club tour of North America, noJazz met with Maurice White and Earth, Wind and Fire at the Conga Room in Los Angeles.

David Porter, the composer of 'Soul Man' and 'Hold On I'm Coming', along with Wayne Vaughn, composer of "Let's Groove", were also present among the many music celebrities who, curious to hear the French group, attended the show.

Enthused by noJazz's performance who, as always, exhilarated the audience with their unique blend of soul-funk, hip-hop and electro jazz, Maurice White and Earth Wind & Fire met up with the band after the show, and decided to collaborate on the recording of noJazz's next single: "noJazz song".

'noJazz Song' is to be produced and remixed by Maurice White and will feature members of Earth Wind & Fire.

Jean-Pierre Weiller, noJazz manager, who also introduced them to Teo Macero, the famous producer (Miles Davis, Thelonius Monk, Charlie Mingus) of their album, arranged the meeting.

noJazz's eponymous debut album, released by Warner Jazz France in April 2002, has already been launched in numerous countries, including the UK, Germany, Benelux, Japan and Canada. A US release is scheduled for May, to coincide with a tour of the country's major cities.
