New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Nervous Records) - Throughout the years seminal NYC house music label Nervous Records has used the Winter
Music Conference (WMC) as a platform for showing the world what a proper party is all about. Back in 1997, the crew took over the local Denny's and installed a soundsystem, blacked out the windows and ordered 'Grand Slam' breakfasts for all as artists spun the sickest house music. To this day, those in attendance still call 'Nervous Denny's Afterhours' their most memorable WMC experience. While WMC's rapid expansion no longer makes such an event possible, Nervous Records has continued on a tradition of amazing parties and festivities.
Nervous Records offers an early look into what's in store via Miami-based DJ/producer Armand Pena's debut Nervous Records mix CD Nervous Nitelife: Miami 2009. Here, the Nikki Beach resident offers a selection of pure house music gems that's the perfect companion to what fans will experience in Miami during WMC. The compilation features a number of Pena's own original productions and remixes in addition to tracks from current 'it boy' Chris Lake, Joi Cardwell, Tom Stephan aka Superchumbo, The Cube Guys and more.
The official Nervous Nitelife: Miami 2009 CD release party will take place during WMC at Armand Pena's Nikki Beach home base on Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Confirmed DJs sets include Murk (Oscar G & Ralph Falcon), Tom Novy, Chris Lake, Tom Stephan, Paul Harris, George Morel, Flash Brothers and Armand Pena among many others (see complete line-up below).
Thursday, March 26th is the second annual Nervous Future Anthems Event at Score Nightclub on Lincoln Road. Featuring Live PA's from Kim English, Daniella and new Nervous artist Anane, this event has emerged as one of the only Vocal Artist oriented events at WMC. DJ sets will come from Joe Bermudez, Trevor Simpson and Manny Lehman.
Nervous Records blows it out even bigger with its label party at Nocturnal on Friday, March 27. Confirmed DJ talent includes Oscar G doing a 6:00 am sunrise set, Tom Stephan aka Superchumbo, Chris Lake, Theo, Cevin Fisher, Eddie Thoneick, Steve Mac and Mark Brown, Austin Leeds, Kenny Dope, Denis The Menace & Big World, Alex Pearce, Baggi Bagevic and many more. This event will be broadcast live on XM/Sirius radio.
