Muzic Souljah started out in the early 1980's playing lead guitar with the reggae band "Reality" whose members are also the original founders of the well known act "The Mighty Mystics". Muzic Souljah then went on to form "Lipstick", a funk act that was well known for its' high quality and intense music (early 90's). Mid 90's Muzic Souljah was known as Robie D. Licious and provided his audiences with an even more intense sound with his own brand of funk which he called "Skunk Funk". He was backed by his own 14 piece orchestra which also featured Devine Brown on lead and backing vocals. That act was considered on of the top acts in Toronto during it's tenure.

On his new album, "Deja Vu", Muzic Souljah introduces listeners to a rare mix of lover's rock reggae, R&B and Hip Hop . "Deja Vu", the title cut, is Muzic's personal blend of reggae fused with modern day r&b and just enough hip-hop to keep you bouncing. Muzic's amazing lead guitar skillz are evident when you listen to his smooth and timeless production on "Damage" . Rapper and son of Muzic Souljah Priceless is featured on the smash hit "It's Not The First Time" . Muzic Souljah's fine vocals are front and center on the crooning soul ballad "Lonely" which carries a distinctive reggae bass line and on the culture/gospel track"One God". Souljah is the singer, producer and writer of his current project and all his previous projects as well. Muzic Souljah's influences include Maxi Priest, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Commodores, Maxwell and Beres Hammond just to name a few.

Based in Toronto, Muzic Souljah is an extremely dedicated hard working musician, songwriter and producer who will exceed your musical expectations. Muzic has been doing shows around the Toronto area with plans to go across the country to promote his new album. Muzic Souljah has helped to produce other acts such as Liberty Silver, Jahbeng, Tada, Leroy Sibbles (The Heptones), and performed with the likes of Deborah Cox, and Glen Washington touring cities such as Miami, Buffalo, St Martins as well as other Canadian cities.
