Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Universal Music Publishing Group) - Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) has announced the signing of a world-wide publishing administration agreement with the producer and co-writer of the global No. 1 hit, "Womanizer" Raphael Akinyemi. Through the deal, the company will publish the No. 1 global hit "Womanizer" performed by Britney Spears.

The Outsyders (Nikesha Briscoe and Rafael Akinyemi) are a production group from Atlanta, Georgia. Their production talents were first featured on "Womanizer," from Britney Spears' sixth studio album Circus.

"Womanizer" was released as the first single from the album and quickly became a commercial success, topping charts in several countries. "Womanizer" was Spears's first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 since her debut "…Baby One More Time." The song garnered first-week download sales of 286,000, the biggest opening-week tally by a female artist since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking digital downloads in 2003. On October 15, the song made a record-breaking ninety-five position jump to number one on the Billboard Hot 100, breaking not only the record for largest jump to No. 1, but the record for largest jump by any song in the history of the chart.

Moreover, in Europe, the track entered the top ten in every single country it was released. Notably, taking the No. 1 slot on the charts in Denmark, Finland, France, Norway, and Sweden. In the UK, "Womanizer" debuted in the Top 10, and reached No. 3. In addition, the track became Spears' sixth European number-one single.

The debut project from Rafael Akinyemi of The Outsyders, "Womanizer" turned this promising hit-maker into an overnight global success.
