Radiohead plan low-key UK tour

LONDON, UK (Radiohead Official Website) - Radiohead will treat UK fans to a series of intimate concerts to coincide with the release of their next album in June. The band, one of the UK's most popular rock groups, will play a series of club dates, thought to be their smallest UK gigs for six years.
They have already announced plans to headline a series of European festivals, including Glastonbury in June.

Details of the club tour dates and venues will be released in the coming weeks, a spokeswoman for their record label Parlophone told BBC News Online.

'Sunshine and energy'

Their sixth studio album is expected to be released in the UK on 9 June.
The band have said this album contained "space and sunshine and energy" compared with their last two releases, Kid A and Amnesiac.

Guitarist Ed O'Brien recently told NME: "To me, this record feels like the culmination of the best bits of The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A and Amnesiac."
The band will headline the Glastonbury Festival on Saturday 28 June, with other festival dates in Belgium, France, Germany and Sweden lined up.
They last appeared live in the UK at a homecoming gig in Oxford's South Park in the summer of 2001.
