MIAMI, FL. (Top40 Charts/ IODA) - IODA, the global leader in digital distribution, marketing, and technology solutions for the independent music and film industry, today announced worldwide distribution agreements with five new Dance & Electronic music labels and three new boutique retailers. New labels include AEI Media Ltd, Easy Street, Naked Music, MN2S and Soulheaven. New Dance retail partners include Boomkat, Halcyon and Wax Poetics. These new partnerships add to IODA's existing client base, which includes Ghostly International, King Street and Jellybean, as well as longstanding distribution agreements with shops like Beatport, Juno and DJ Download.

The announcement was made today at the Winter Music Conference (WMC) in Miami where Retail Manager for Dance/Electronic Craig O'Neill will be speaking. IODA's presence at WMC has expanded this year to the sponsorship of three stellar events:

- ObliqSound's "Music Without Borders" event at the Indra Lounge in South Beach
- The Global Media Summit at the South Seas Hotel
- Dirtybird's Showcase event at the Doublegrand Waterclub

"As a niche-oriented independent record shop trying to claw our way into the digital arena, we've been dismissed by many aggregators who view smaller operations like ours with skepticism," said Sean Schwartz, owner of Halcyon. "IODA stands apart from the pack in this regard. They have been extremely flexible, understanding of and responsive to our unique needs, proving themselves a valuable pro-active partner at every step."

"The massive growth in sales of Electronic music is a great example of the potential in the digital space for independents. This is a genre where our clients can exist on equal if not better footing than the majors," said Kevin Arnold, CEO and founder of IODA. "At the same time retailers that know this genre better than anyone are proving that the curatorial skills of the traditional record store are alive and well, and thriving even in digital."

New Dance labels join IODA catalog:

AEI Media Ltd (www.artempireindustries.com)

A premium Drum & Bass website and catalog, AEI is a UK based media company serving web, mobile and live content to several online Drum & Bass communities. Its products include the well-respected Drum & Bass Arena website, D&BTV, Audio Arena, and its renowned download store.

Easy Street Records (www.easystreetrecords.com)

Easy Street has had a consistent run of hits over the past three decades including such favorites as "You Don't Know" by Serious Intention, Cultural Vibe's "Ma Foom Bey," "In & Out of My Life" by Adeva, "Hideaway" & "That Look" by De' Lacy and many others. The label is currently completing several compilation albums to celebrate its 25 years of producing some of House music's most enduring classics.

MN2S (www.mn2s.com)

Having stormed on to the Dance music scene in the mid 1990's, London based house label MN2S has defined itself as one the most established and respected brands in Dance music worldwide. Hosting more than 100 events per year across the globe, MN2S is notorious for its extensive international artist roster, which includes legends like Fedde Le Grand, Martin Solveig, Kenny Dope, Joey Negro and Bodyrox.

Naked Music (www.naked-music.com)

Founded in 1998, the Naked Sound was born at the intersection of Dance, Soul and Electronic music. Its catalog includes high profile remixes from artists like Kaskade, Miguel Migs and Andy Caldwell. New releases from Blue Six serve to further refine and reinterpret Naked's musical mission.

Soulheaven (www.soul-heaven.com) is an undisputed leader and purveyor of quality soulful House music with a roster of DJ's and producers that is the envy of many.
