Speek Greene Hits No 1 On AU Charts With New Single

Melbourne, AU. (Top40 Charts/ Speek Greene Official Website) - CT/NY/Phoenix DJ Speek Greene's new single "All An Illusion" with Kenny Wesley is burning up the charts, hitting No 1 in just its first week serviced to radio and online tastemaker mp3.com.au.

Greene, Washington DC's Wesley and up and coming producer Mozaic crafted the silky smooth neo-soul gem, which is one of the first singles from the forthcoming Speek Greene LP entitled "The Long Look." Speek says the title represents introspection and forward thinking.

"It's about the long look we should take at ourselves to find out who we truly are as a people." Speek says. "It will shed a light on the uglies that we try to hide about ourselves. It also describes the beauty of truth and how great life can be when we decide to focus on the things that God gave us."

Starting solely as a dj in New York metropolitan area.Speek figured he could get more gigs as a dj if he launched his career as a producer, so with that being said he decided to do just that.

His first serious situation was a production he did for an artist out of Baltimore named Wordsmith and he teamed him up with hip hop legend Chubb Rock. Collectively they released a single entitled "Block Party Bonanza" which did quite well in the overseas market.

The next situation was for conscience underground mc NYOIL(formerly Kool Kim of The Umcees) Speek executive produced the underground classic "Hood Treason" which features "Shout It In The Streets" which he produced.

Fast forward to the current situation Speek is working on his compilation lp entitled "The Long Look" which examines human nature at the degree to where no one has ever discussed.The production as a whole goes in a multitude of different directions in terms of content and sound but enjoyable nonetheless. The lp is being executive produced by Kev Brown.
