Ladyhawke will play on the same bill as The
Kooks at the Eden Sessions on July 18, 2009.
Ladyhawke, whose real name is Phillipa Brown, is famous for her single 'Paris is Burning', taken from her self-titled debut album released at the end of last year. She was nominated alongside Pete Doherty and Jay-Z in the Best Solo Artist category of this year's NME Awards.
Peter Hampel, Eden's Creative Director, said: 'Ladyhawke continues the Sessions tradition of great support acts. Elbow, Editors and Hard-Fi have all opened Sessions before and Ladyhawke is set to make big waves this year. Alongside The Kooks, this will be a stunning evening of live music.'
Also confirmed for the Eden Sessions 2009 are Kasabian, who play on July 4, Razorlight, who play on July 9, and Oasis who play on July 14. Tickets are still available for all gigs except Oasis. Further announcements will be made shortly.
