NEW YORK (Led Zeppelin Fans Website) - Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page is again denying rumors that the surviving bandmembers will reunite in the near future. Page recently told Music Week that the only way he'll be playing with Robert Plant and John Paul Jones is "on my DVD player" - referring to the upcoming release of Led Zeppelin DVD on May 27, along with a live album, How The West Was Won. Page added that fans should "not hold their breath for anything else," including reunion concerts or further releases from the vault. Still, Page said that he's excited about the upcoming releases. "It really deserves a fanfare of trumpets when (the DVD) comes out because it is not just bits and pieces that have been seen before--it is Led Zeppelin live...," Page said. "In those days, you have to understand what you had at your disposal to promote an album. The only vehicle we had then was to be taken as a live band. If we made any footage, there was no vehicle for it." Page oversaw the production of both the album and the DVD. The CD is taken from a pair of 1972 concerts in Southern California, while the DVD features rare and previously unreleased footage from concert and TV appearances.
