2009 Canadian Country Music Association Awards To Be Held Sept. 13 In Vancouver

NASHVILEL, TN (Top40 Charts/ AristoMedia) - This year's 2009 Canadian Country Music Awards will be held Sept. 13 in Vancouver, British Columbia at General Motors Place, concluding four days of exciting music industry events known as Country Music Week.

Country Music Week, held Sept. 10-13, is the annual celebration that brings together the country music industry and its fans for a jam-packed agenda of educational seminars, showcases, networking opportunities, awards and musical performances.

This year's events include the Songwriter's Caf?, New Artist Showcase, Industry Brunch and Awards, Fanfest, Educational Panels, Gala Dinner and Awards, Gospel Showcase, Great Guitar Pull, All Star Band Awards and Jam Session, the 2009 CCMA Awards Show and more. Performers at this year's awards show broadcast include 2008 Male Artist of the Year Johnny Reid, whose latest release, Dance With Me, recently went Gold. Additionally, last year's five- time award-winner Doc Walker and multiple CCMA Award winner Terri Clark will also perform.

Nominees for the 2009 CCMA Awards will be announced July 29 at a media conference in Toronto.
