Toronto, Canada (Top40 Charts/ Supernova) - Supernova is proud to announce that they have teamed with new wave rockers Hello Operator to give local indie bands a rare industry opportunity: to play a live opening spot on a major concert tour, while being mentored by a band signed under industry powerhouse Coalition Entertainment. Thanks to Supernova.com, indie artists can sign up and promote their bands online to our panel of experts, who will determine which bands will win an opening spot for Hello Operator in their hometown.

This opportunity for Supernova.com artists comes just as Hello Operator is releasing the new single and video for Take Me Away, the third single release off their debut EP, The Breaks. The video was immediately added to Much Music and Much More Music and is already getting strong radio play. Hello Operator has also been showcased on E-Talk Daily and has toured with Faber Drive, Hilary Duff, Ill Scarlet, Switchfoot, Simple Plan, Hedley, Thornley, Loverboy and many more, making them an ideal mentor for ambitious indie bands.

In partnering with Supernova.com, Hello Operator is opening the door for other artists to rise up and play live on a major concert tour. The exposure bands gain by signing up at Supernova.com, bringing fans online to vote, and potentially playing at a major venue is an absolutely unique and absolutely free opportunity for indie artists. Winning bands will also have the chance to be mentored by Hello Operator, gaining invaluable insights into the often exclusive music industry.

Supernova is proud to have partnered with new wave rockers Hello Operator for 10 shows on their cross-Canada tour, giving 100 indie artists the chance to open for and learn from Coalition Entertainment's latest success story. In driving these exclusive opportunities for indie bands to gain exposure and play live, Supernova.com gives artists the tools, expertise and insider connections needed to explode on to the music scene.
