50 Cent: more tour dates and is working on a book!

NEW YORK (50 Cent Official Website) - 50 Cent, who is out on tour with Clipse, is currently working on securing a book deal for his biography, Number One With Nine Bullets. The rapper is looking for a six-figure advance for the book, which will be penned by writer Vanessa Satten.

Number One With Nine Bullets will feature details of the rapper's troubled life, including the murder of his drug-dealer mother when he was 8, his own trials and tribulations as a drug dealer, and his eventual union with Eminem and Dr. Dre. The book is tentatively scheduled for release in September.

50 Cent will release a new DVD, The New Breed, on April 15. The DVD will include a computer-generated video for the rapper's Dr. Dre-produced song, "Heat," as well as a Riker's Island prison interview with G Unit member Tony Yayo, and concert footage from the entire Shady Records roster, which includes Eminem, 50 Cent, D12, and Obie Trice.
