LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Brian Evans Official Website) - When a group of college band mates reunite 15 years after graduation to sing at a friend's wedding, they take a break from their less-than-perfect lives to spend a long weekend at a cozy Hamptons beach house with their spouses, children, friends and one Swedish nanny in tow. Reuniting with lifelong friends provides them with some much-needed perspective on how their lives have progressed - and in some cases, regressed - since their college heyday. WEDDING WEEKEND stars Molly Shannon ("Kath & Kim," "SNL"), Elizabeth Reaser (Twilight, "Grey's Anatomy") and Rosemarie DeWitt (Rachel Getting Married, "Mad Men"). From director Bruce Leddy (MadTv), "The Wedding Weekend" is now available at Netflix, and where DVD's are sold. Also featured in the film is new crooner Brian Evans' (www.brianevans.com) version of the classic standard "I've Got The World On A String", which the producers of the film used after replacing the track they had planned to use of Frank Sinatra's recording. Evans is currently working on his debut CD, which will feature a duet with Kelly Osbourne, and for which eight of the thirteen tracks to be on the CD were recorded by Evans. The CD is being produced by Grammy nominated producer Chris Walden, who recently created the arrangement for Jennifer Hudson's Superbowl anthem performance. "We are obviously thrilled with Brian's version of the classic song, 'I've Got The World On A String,' as it steps up things for Brian. His songs have been used on shows ranging from 'So You Think You Can Dance' and 'Big Shots,' so bringing one of his songs to a motion picture is exciting," says Andrew Biltz.
