NEW YORK (Bjork Fans Website) - A man accused of selling fake Bjork tickets has been caught and charged with grand theft. Last year, Alex Conate contacted a club in San Diego saying he could book Bjork for a January 15th concert. Conate allegedly sold $14, 000 worth of tickets at $40 a pop then fled to Hawaii. There was no concert and a spokesperson for Bjork said the singer had no plans of playing San Diego. The alleged con man has pleaded not guilty. He could face up to three years in prison if convicted.

Bjork will actually be playing a host of shows this summer in Europe, Russia, Japan and the U.S. There will also be a DVD released in June, and a live CD set covering the past 10 years is on the way.
