NEW YORK (Lynyrd Skynyrd Official Website) - My hair's turnin' white, my neck's always been red, my collar's still blue
We've always been here tryin' to sing the truth to you
Guess you could say we've always been red white and blue
"Red White and Blue," Lynyrd Skynyrd

The early groundswell of support at radio for Lynyrd Skynyrd's new poignant and moving single "Red White and Blue" has urged Sanctuary Records to move up the release date of VICIOUS CYCLE--the group's first new studio material in four years--to May 20.

A week before its official release date, "Red White and Blue" is already receiving overwhelming radio activity, jumping to #15 (from #40) on the Mainstream Rock chart and debuting at #30 on the R&R Rock Chart with over 50 stations across the country proudly playing it.

The soaringly melodic and gutsy song is a patriotic tribute to the blue collar ethics that have immortalized Lynyrd Skynyrd, who will celebrate their 30th anniversary this year by reconnecting with their devoted fans across the U.S. and abroad. The iconic and much-storied American band, who have sold over 25 million albums, co-produced Vicious Cycle with Ben Fowler in Nashville.
