NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - It's been six years since RANCID's last album, and at every turn, the songs from their forthcoming LP 'Let The Dominoes Fall' have been met with an eager reception.

NEW YORK MAGAZINE writes that "there's no matching" the album's first single and video "Last One To Die," calling Rancid "pop-punk's big dogs, one of those laid back breeds that carry a hint of danger."

THE LOS ANGELES TIMES hails the new album's "fierce, joyful and unexpectedly heartwarming punk," adding that "Rancid sounds as vital and in command of its streetpunk-via-smoky dancehall chops as ever." The LAT also singles out the acoustic ballad "Civilian Ways," as possibly "the most harrowing yet powerful thing the band has written to date."

SPIN MAGAZINE, meanwhile, tells readers that Rancid "has lost nary a step and their ethical-emotional rigor is as sweet as it is pure."

Rancid performed songs from 'Dominoes' on May 16, headlining KROQ's annual Weenie Roast concert. The LOS ANGELES TIMES observed that "The band has only gained vitality with new drummer Branden Steineckert and its live set was like watching a gang of rowdy old sailors pulling into port - singing gang-chant odes to their own longevity and spirit and maybe leaving a black eye or two in their wake." The OC REGISTER agreed that Rancid "roared through one of their best sets in years," adding that they "sound as strong as ever." vOther musicians are giving props to Rancid as well. A national tour with RISE AGAINST kicks off June 4, and Rise Against frontman Tim McIlrath recently told ROLLING STONE "Rancid are the band that blazed the trail...We'll have to work hard to keep their fans in the room."
Rancid will stream 'Let The Dominoes Fall' in its entirety - all 19 songs - before release date, starting May 26 from their MySpace page (https://www.Myspace.com/rancid).
Stay tuned for more info!
