LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Wired PR) - The Big Reunion, the UK's Biggest Indoor Winter Festival, is pleased to announce the headline acts for this year's festival. They are They are Wombats, Judge Jules, Tall Paul, Tim Westwood and Micky Slim with support from The Holloways, Utah Saints, Trip, and Mary Ann Hobbs. Also more promoters have been added to the already legendary line up to include Godskitchen,
Cream Classics, Hed
Kandi and XFM Remix.
With the two events in 2008 selling out two months in advance, the organizers have announced that this year's Big Reunion will now be held over three weekends and not the usual two!
The Big Reunion has rocked the UK every winter since 2001 and it's easy to see why. With its 360-degree music policy, the huge line-up boasts the biggest line up of live bands, DJs, acts and promoters at one UK event. The biggest indoor winter festival fills seven arenas with a mix of music that over 15,000 people enjoy nonstop over back-to-back weekends.
Ian Kaye, General Manager - UK Events & Overseas at The Big Reunion, said: "After the success of last year's event there was clear demand to offer an extra weekend. By adding promoters such as Godskitchen, Cream Classics, Hed Kandi and XFM Remix means this year's event will be bigger and better than ever.
'We're continuing with our winning formula of mashing together as many musical styles as possible with a twisted sense of fun and frolics. Where else can you enjoy an afternoon of Silent Disco and wrestling and then see The Wombats, Tim Westwood, Judge Jules and Chico in the same night?"
Over two nights and three weekends, 12 leading promoters from the dance, urban and indie scene and over 60 live acts makes this event by far the best thing about the winter.
The confirmed line up so far includes The Wombats, The Holloways, Utah Saints, Trip, Mary Ann Hobbs, Judgement Sundays, Godskitchen, Twice as Nice, Xfm's Remix, Hed Kandi, Cream Classics, Kissdafunk, Trinity, Essential Grooves and Rewind. Following last year's success, there will be a Silent Arena again and more Superstar DJs and headliners will be announced in due course!
Tickets are released on Wednesday May 6th and are priced at only �159. The price includes two nights onsite accommodation sleeping two-six people, access to all the venue's facilities and a wristband allowing unlimited access to all six arenas for the entire weekend.
