NEW YORK (Nas Fans Website) - Nas will be honoured this weekend in Detroit at the latest and largest Hip Hop Summit created by Russell Simmons.

Nas will receive "The Heroes Award" in part for his positive song "I Can". Simmons says it's good a song like that is a hit but that's not the only reason Nas is being recognized.
"It's for his uplifting content and his encouragement of young people to become better citizens," the hip hop guru said. Eminem is a guest sponsor of the summit, which will focus on youth empowerment.

In other news, Eminem debuts his Shady Limited clothing line this weekend. The collection features hooded sweatshirts, velour jogging suits and baggy jeans that range in price from $25 to $100 U.S.
