NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Atlantic Records) - Meese will be at Twist & Shout for a free performance on June 30 at 6 p.m... the same day as their new album, Broadcast, will be released on Atlantic Records. Fans will be able to pre-purchase the album starting on June 1, in order to get wristbands which will guarantee them entry to this sure-to-be-sold-out event!

From the Atlantic release sheet:
Atlantic Records has announced the upcoming release of Meese's full length debut, Broadcast, the Denver-based band's anticipated first album which includes the single, 'Next in Line.' Produced by Sean Beavan (Nine Inch Nails, No Doubt, Depeche Mode), Broadcast covers the wide spectrum of the band's many stylistic interests-from guitar-driven rock to avant-garde electronic, from melodic piano pop to four-on-the-floor dance. With a thumping bass line driving soaring guitars and a contagious refrain, 'Next in Line' shipped to Modern Rock and Triple A radio outlets on May 5th and is impacting both formats June 8th. Meese will lead up to the album's release with a packed touring and promotion schedule which includes dates with Jack's Mannequin and The Fray in July. Additional dates will be announced soon, including dates with Copeland.

Brothers Patrick and Nathan Meese began Meese in 2005, after Nathan joined Patrick in Denver. Not too long thereafter, the band solidified their lineup with Benjamin Haley and Mike Ayars. In 2007, a demo of the band's song 'Tell Me It's Over' caught on fire at Denver modern rock powerhouse KTCL/93.3 FM. The band signed to Atlantic later that year. Since then, they've shared the stage with Paramore, Phantom Planet, Fall Out Boy, The Academy Is, Valencia and The Airborne Toxic Event.
