Born in Portland, Oregon on May 31st 1988, Lil Fats a/k/a Kyle Hiersche started on his road to a Hip-Hop artist as a writer. As early as 6 years old he was publishing his own children's books and short novels. From there, stories quickly changed to songwriting, with an extensive list of over 500 songs written, ranging from pop, R & B, rock, and finally to hip-hop. By age 11 he had recorded and released his first mixtape "Kickin It", which he sold throughout his middle school. Lil Fats spent the next 7 years of his life putting out over 10 different projects fighting the same familiar struggles that all local independent artists face on the come up.
