LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Knott's Berry Farm) - The largest Filipino festival on the West Coast will take place at Knott's Berry Farm on Saturday, July 18. The event, which includes cultural exhibits, Filipino food and a festival area will also include live performances from Quest Crew, Kaba Modern, the Basco Brothers, Jasmine Villegas, Ashley Robles and Edwin San Juan.

The charismatic Quest Crew entertained their way into MTV viewers' homes and hearts to become 'America's Best Dance Crew' season 3 champions. Accomplished dancers, each with their own specialty, they bring to the stage a great mix of humor, high-flying and eye-popping tricks and innovative choreography that consistently brings audiences to their feet. Quest has been featured on 'So You Think You Can Dance,' Season's 1-4, last season's American Idol and will soon be seen in Sony Production's 'Alvin and the Chipmunks: the Squeakquel' to be released in December 2009.

Kaba Modern is an Orange County-based street dance group that was a heavy local favorite to win the first season of MTV's 'America's Best Dance Crew.' The crew came in third out of 12 hip hop groups. Since the show, Kaba Modern hasn't lost an ounce of momentum. It has won prestigious awards and competed at Bust-a-Groove, Fusion and Vibe. On a global level, the street dancers took home third place in the world at the 2008 Hip Hop International. Created in 1992 by Arnel Calvario, the crew originally formed at the University of California, Irvine. Calvario gathered dancers to perform urban dance at Pilipino Cultural Night, an annual event hosted by UCI's Pilipino-American club Kababayan, and the group has continued growing ever since.

The Basco Brothers - Dion, Dante, Darion and Derek, have been performing together since they were just small boys in the Bay area where they were known as a break dancing crew called the Street Freaks. When the boys added rapping to their performance they changed their name to the Brown Boyz and later became the Flying Brown Dragons, the name they started performing under in 2000. In 2006 they became the Basco Brothers and added acting to their resume when they all appeared in the award winning indie flim, 'The Debut.' They have played the top venues in Los Angeles including the Hard Rock Cafe', The Key Club and the House of Blues.

Tickets to the Kababayan Festival are only $34.99 (48' and over) and $22.99 (48' and under and Seniors (62+) and includes all day admission to Knott's Berry Farm where guests can experience 165 rides shows and attractions, including 10 exciting coasters. Those purchasing tickets online before July 17 at www.knotts.com will get a free Kababayan fest T-shirt.
