New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Beamz Interactive) - Beamz Interactive and Sound Choice formed a new distribution/content development agreement to further the progression of the Beamz Top-Hit music library, and create a new dealer channel to market the Beamz. Beamz Interactive, an interactive music products company that develops innovative musical instruments and music software to enable people of all ages and skill levels to play music, and Sound Choice, the leading provider and developer of high-quality karaoke content, will together exhibit at the NAMM Conference (Booth No 327) in Nashville, TN beginning this Friday. Beamz Founder Jerry Riopelle, will be playing the Beamz interactive musical instrument at the NAMM exhibit booth, showing off the products' new offering for professional musicians and recording artists.

"We intend to leverage the superior quality of Sound Choice's top song titles to accelerate our ability to compose interactive jam versions of top hit songs for all Beamz players to download and access," said Charlie Mollo, Beamz Interactive CEO. "Sound Choice understands the power of unleashing personal musical expression, making our products a natural complement to the Sound Choice product line and dealer channel."

The Beamz composers have taken top-hit songs from popular artists and have created an interactive version or remake in the style of the original artist, called a "jam". By remaking and editing the original music into an interactive format, Beamz players can "jam" to these familiar songs, by pulling in a variety of music clips and sounds at the players' discretion. This is the beauty of interactive music. Each player creates their own signature to playing a popular song.

"Based on what the Beamz is set out to do with its music library, we can help assist their composers with our content to speed production of top-hit jams. In addition, we have the ability to market the Beamz through our established dealer channel," said Kurt Slep, Sound Choice CEO. "We are very excited about the synergies of this partnership. And, we are especially excited about our shared vision of bringing people together through music, and together using our products for music therapy and senior life enrichment."

The Beamz is an approachable instrument that anyone can play. It brings people into the world of digital music making without having to know how to read or play traditional music. By simply passing your hands through any of the six laser beams, players can trigger multiple streams of musical notes and sounds that always sound good and are never out of key. Players receive two music CDs with the purchase of their system, featuring 30 original songs from a variety of music categories or genres including rock, jazz, blues, reggae, country, hip hop, Latin and classical. In addition, they receive a coupon for 5 additional FREE songs of their choice after they register the product online at www.thebeamz.com.

Library of Beamz Interactive Music

The Beamz website offers a music library with over a hundred different songs, including original, top hits and kids songs, for purchase. By partnering with Sound Choice, the Beamz plans to more rapidly add new songs to its music library. Songs currently under development with Sound Choice include:

* Honky Tonk Woman in the style of The Rolling Stones
* I Shot The Sheriff in the style of Bob Marley
* Pork and Beans in the style of Weezer
* 1,2,3,4 in the style of Plain White T's

The Beamz product consists of the actual unit or instrument, which is a "W-shaped" controller that features six laser beams. A USB cord links the unit to a computer, which runs the Beamz motion-activated PC-based software. The product also comes with a Quick Start guide and Instructional DVD. Priced at $199, the Beamz can be purchased at www.thebeamz.com or www.soundchoicestore.com. To purchase additional songs, visit www.thebeamz.com for a complete selection of original, top-hits and kids songs. Each song costs $2.99. The company plans to release new software at the Summer NAMM Conference to be held in Nashville that will enable musicians and DJs to create and edit their own interactive music with the Beamz instrument.
