LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ doublethink Official Website) - "These are big beautiful hard-hitting rock songs that deserve to be heard. Listen up, America."
- Jim Testa, Jersey Beat

If frustrations were explosive, consider doublethink nitroglycerin in a jar..' - Bronx Time Reporter

Recording their enormous rock songs with legendary producer Kevin 'The Caveman' Shirley, performing over 200+ live shows including opening sets for both Collective Soul and Finger Eleven, and being featured on three dozen Internet radio programs are just a few of doublethink's accomplishments

Now, after saving their pennies and dimes, quitting their day jobs and devoting their entire lives to music, doublethink is on the road, bringing their intense live show to new audiences across the United States.

Who is doublethink? The band from New London, CT has been performing together since 2004 and has independently released four albums. Their 2007 release, Creating the Creator, caught the attention of NYC management company The Wink Winks, who signed the band to a management contract after seeing their live show in NYC in early 2008, and being blown away by their performance.

'We heard about doublethink on SonicBids, and were really into them,' says manager Richard Zack, 'Five minutes into their live show we were hooked. We knew this band had something special... and we wanted to help them capture that energy on their next release, and then help get them out on the road.'

Flash forward three months, and find one awestruck band recording a new album with Kevin 'The Caveman' Shirley, who was atop their list of producers for his work with Aerosmith, Silverchair, and The Black Crowes.

'It was somewhat of a circular, karmic experience for me,' says lead singer Scott Brown, 'I grew up listening to Kevin Shirley's records, working with him was incredible. He actually loaned me the guitar that Daniel Johns used on Silverchair's album Frogstomp. The whole experience was other-worldly for us.'

Sponsored by Fender, Shine Drums, and Manic Panic NYC, check doublethink's website for all show listings.

BIO:
doublethink boasts an enormous rock n' roll sound, songs that are broad and powerful, and a dynamic line-up of young and energetic players. This band does not settle for anything less than huge. Effortlessly blending stadium rock, pop, heavy metal, and alternative music, with the sensibility of music's greatest, doublethink is not just another act... doublethink has played over 200 shows from 2005-2008, including sharing the bill with Collective Soul and Finger Eleven. They have a tremendous, kinetic live performance... the crowds embrace their energy, dance and move, and enjoy their ears ringing for days.
