NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ PLAN A MEDIA) - Rock and Roll Hall of Famers FRANKIE VALLI AND THE FOUR SEASONS once again set attendance records as the popular group returned to Brooklyn's Asser Levy Seaside Park's outdoor music series and performed to an audience of more than 15,000 fans. The Seaside Summer Concert Series is the largest free outdoor music series in New York.

Hosted by Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, the Thursday-night series is in its 31st year. "It doesn't get any better than watching, singing and dancing at a Frankie Valli show," said Markowitz. "He represents the zenith of music enjoyed by all generations!" An estimated 15,000 fans packed the park and sang and danced along to hit after hit. The legendary singer has consistently drawn an incredible 10,000 to the venue, before breaking the attendance record on July 30th. The show also included tunes from Frankie Valli's most current CD, "Romancing The '60s."

In addition to die-hard fans, luminaries seen rocking out included famed concert promoter Sid Bernstein; NY Times Publisher, Arthur Sulzberger; Sopranos actor Lou Martini, Jr., and NJ Nets (soon to be Brooklyn Nets) Owner and Urban Real Estate Developer Bruce Ratner.

The extraordinary ongoing chapters of a five-decade career illustrate the unending public demand for the music of American rock-and-roll heroes FRANKIE VALLI AND THE FOUR SEASONS whose singular body of work of the classic and beloved vocal group has been driving ticket sales the world over both for multiple productions of "Jersey Boys," as well as for Frankie Valli's ongoing tour dates with The Four Seasons.

"Jersey Boys," the story of FRANKIE VALLI AND THE FOUR SEASONS, has claimed a stunning triple crown of awards, including most recently the Olivier Award as BEST NEW MUSICAL of the year. The Tony Award and Grammy Award winning Broadway production is now in its fourth year of sell-out shows; productions are currently running in Chicago, Las Vegas, Toronto and Melbourne, with a touring company playing nationally. The musical recaps the compelling power of their life stories and the timeless cultural presence of lead singer Frankie Valli's iconic voice, which are all continuing to drive ticket sales the world over, despite the deepening economic recession. Responding to this popular demand, Valli and The Four Seasons have extended their national solo tour schedule well into 2010.

In what would be the twilight of most careers, the opening of "Jersey Boys" on Broadway and a much-praised recurring role by Frankie Valli highlighting the later seasons of the long-running HBO drama "The Sopranos" launched a new career cycle for the group. The London success of "Jersey Boys" was foretold in part by the 2007 U.K. Top 40 re-charting of the 40-year-old original Four Seasons song "Beggin'" after months of heavy club play. A faithful rap cover of the song by Norwegian hip-hop act Madcon hit No. 1 in several European territories in 2008, and the same version re-entered the U.K. charts recently.
