New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - 'Swim' - the new single from Sire Records' pop/rock phenomenon JACK'S MANNEQUIN - will be used in promo spots teasing the premiere of CBS's upcoming fall drama Three Rivers. The spots began airing on August 10th. 'Swim' is the second single from Jack's Mannequin's current album The Glass Passenger.

A drama about organ transplantation, Three Rivers deals with second chances, what you do with them, and who deserves them, according to executive producer Carol Barbee. 'Swim,' a moody, layered song about fighting for the goodness in life at all costs, dovetails perfectly with the show's theme.

Andrew McMahon explains, "For me 'Swim' is a song about hope in seemingly hopeless places. As a cancer survivor whose life was saved by a stem cell transplant, the inclusion of 'Swim' in the Three Rivers launch seemed almost fated."

'Swim,' which Jack's Mannequin performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on July 30th, has made a significant impact at Hot AC radio. The video, directed by Steven Murahsige (Rage Against The Machine, Talib Kweli, Incubus), was filmed in Hollywood and features a cast of Jack's Mannequin fans, underscoring the song's passionate and empowering lyrical perspective. In other news, Andrew will be hitting the road for a solo tour, just him and a piano, in October, to raise awareness about his deeply personal documentary Dear Jack, which chronicles the year that Andrew, then 22, spent battling leukemia while trying to release Jack's Mannequin's 2005 debut album Everything in Transit. Andrew has been in remission since receiving a stem-cell transplant from his sister. Sire Records will release Dear Jack during the month of September, which is National Leukemia Awareness Month. Dates are as follows:
October 4 Denver, CO Daniels Hall
October 6 Minneapolis, MN Varsity Theater
October 7 Chicago, IL Lakeshore Theater
October 10 Newport, KY The Southgate House
October 12 New York, NY Highline Ballroom
October 14 Somerville, MA Arts at the Armory
October 15 Philadelphia, PA World Cafe' Live
October 18 Washington, DC Sixth & I Historic Synagogue
October 25 San Francisco, CA Swedish American Hall
October 27 Anaheim, CA House of Blues
October 29 West Hollywood, CA Troubadour

Jack's Mannequin, which also includes guitarist Bobby Anderson, bassist Jonathan Sullivan, and drummer Jay McMillan, have been on a coast-to-coast tour all summer with The Fray. The tour wound up on August 7th.
