New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Allmighty Entertainment) - J-Simms was born September 16, 1979 in Charleston, S.C. Growing up in the south was fun for Jerome watching people in the neighborhood break dance in the street, he began carrying a big boom box radio with fat laced Adidas! All at an early age and not knowing when he grew up that music would be his calling in life.

He knew that there had to be more for his life and began writing song lyrics which opened up other opportunities for him to join local groups traveling and doing shows in various places.

The selling of C.D.'s taught him the awesome power of music and he later started a group called Brothers with Harmony which consisted of four group members (Mike Hesterbey, Ed Cole, Marshall Leonard and himself, Jerome Simmons) The group later separated which brought Jerome to Georgia where J-Simms the artist was birth.

Jerome performed at a local club called the Atrium in Georgia where he met Maleak Stafford, a local club promoter which he knew also was a divine connection. This connection helped to shape Jerome. Jerome performed in clubs about four times a week for months trying different ways to bring what J-Simms calls..medicine to the people! Medicine brought to a people that didn't know they needed it. This opportunity plus a lot of prayer caught the attention of almighty Kay Gee from the legendary group The Cold Crush Brothers who heard his demo and signed him right away!

J-Simms mixes Elements of Hip Hop and R&B to reach the masses with his debut album coming in 2009 titled The Beginning! J-Simms along with Allmighty Entertainment, LLC. is definitely making an impact and here to take the industry by storm!
