New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Irish folk star Cara Dillon will join some of the biggest names in rock and pop, including Peter Gabriel, Bill Wyman, Bryan Ferry Nick Mason (Pink Floyd), Jamie Cullum and Roger Taylor (Queen), to sing The Beatles classic "All You Need Is Love," which is to be the charity single for this years BBC Children In Need appeal. The all star lineup will record the track at Studio 2 at Abbey Road in London.

Each year the BBC sets aside one evening of programming on its flagship television channel, BBC One, to show events aimed at raising money exclusively for charities working with children. So far the charity has raised over 500 million ($850 million) and last year on the broadcast night alone the campaign raised over 20 million ($34 million).

On top of the charity track, Dillon will release her new album 'Hill of Thieves' next week in the US on Charcoal Records/Proper American. USA Today has lauded Dillon for her work on the album, saying she 'glows on the haunting single and title track.'

Dillon's best selling album to date in the UK, 'Hill of Thieves' was met by across the board praise upon its release there earlier this year. The BBC said 'it's impossible not to be held spellbound... an artist this good deserves to be savored,' and the Daily Mirror's 4-star review called it "a finely-etched, faultlessly delivered set."

She'll kick off a US tour on September 18, including a September 28 show at Joe's Pub in NYC. For dates and info: https://www.shorefire.com/clients/cdillon/
